After years of taking care of his own horses, sheep, goats, cattle and peacocks, Gene Mathys hired Amish workers to build
a barn, and he opened the new space to the public for horse boarding. The barn features 12x12 stalls, and riding trails and
a round pen are nearby on the Mathys farm.
Services include full care:
hay, grain, bedding, feeding, stall cleaning and worming.
Gene and his wife Margo bought their farm from Gene's parents and have enjoyed years of being entrepreneurs. Gene has
more than 40 years of horse care experience. Margo owns and operates a barber shop while Gene runs the farm.
